About the Corporate MBA

Illinois State University offers a Corporate Master of Business Administration program with high standards that is responsive to students. It is a program that fits the needs of students, permitting them to complete all course work in less than three years.

The Corporate MBA program at Illinois State offers its students an opportunity to build and develop skills to become leaders in today's organizations. The program enables students to become creative thinkers and problem solvers. Students collaborate on class projects, presentations, and reports in a curriculum blending analysis, writing, and team effort.

Classes meet on Friday evenings and all day on Saturdays.

 

Applications are being accepted for the 2010-2012 Corporate MBA Program in Partnership with the McLean County Chamber of Commerce, which will begin in February 2010 and end in June 2012.

The Curriculum

Through regular interaction with alumni and business leaders, faculty evaluate their courses and degree requirements and adapt them to ensure that Illinois State MBA graduates have the knowledge for mastering the challenges they will meet. Important topics such as global competitiveness and ethics are integrated into MBA courses.

The Career Opportunities

Career opportunities are enhanced by many services and extracurricular programs. The University's Career Services Office assists students with career decisions, resumes, and finding positions after graduation. The MBA office also sponsors seminars on career topics. MBA Alumni Network members assist students in a variety of ways, including mentoring. The MBA Association allows students to develop leadership and organizational skills and sponsors social and professional activities.
